Audiologist, London, Full Time, up to £31,000pa + Benefits
Key Details: I am recruiting for an experienced Audiologist to join a specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions to cover a range of sites within London. You must possess a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and can offer support to the families visiting.
The Key details are –
Location: Central London – within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: £25,000 – £31,000 per annum / £12.82 – £15.89 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. ( Including London Weighting & No Unsocial Hours )
Hours: Full Time available – 36 Hours Per Week
Shift Patterns: Rota that operates across 4 days per week (Monday – Friday), this is a full time position however part time and flexible working is considered.
Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit an Audiologist to join a team providing clinical and patient care. You will be required to deliver and contribute to the successful audiology provision by testing and assessing patients to a high standard. Ensuring processes are followed correctly; adhering to best practice audiological critique and complying with relevant codes of practice. You will undertake audiology procedures for NHS patients efficiently and effectively; adhering to best practice audiology technique. Fit a range of hearing aids and provide rehabilitation for patients. Provide expertise to ensure the appropriate examination of patients. Maintain a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying with relevant codes of practice. Undertaking audiological procedures in line with existing clinical guidelines and protocols Process patient referrals in line with modality guidelines Run Quality Assurance checks on equipment, and action as appropriate Review and Develop modality specific protocols, in line with requirements, to support the service Adhere to all operational procedures as outlined by the Company
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Audiologist opportunity to be competent in using audiological equipment. You must be able to demonstrate exposure of fitting hearing aids. Experience of routing pure tone impedance and speech audiometry to BSA/BAA standards. Professional and corporate attitude towards patients customers and colleagues. It is a must to possess Masters or Bachelors degree in audiological science or equivalent. BAS/BSA part 1 and part 2. HAC registration. Membership of RCCP, BAA, HAC or relevant professional body. A flexible approach to work is required. You must be prepared to undertake national travel to attend training courses.
