Clinical Fellow in HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery, Full Time, Permanent, up to £60,000pa + Benefits

Location: North London – within easy access via Train, Bus and Car with Car Park

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum / £26.44 – £28.84 per hour based on 40 hours per week.

Further Details about the Role: The post holder will carry out a period of research towards a higher degree (MRes, MD, PhD) in the University Department of Surgery at a local hospital and will have clinical commitments as an RMO in the HPB Unit at this site.
The HPB Unit at the site has a full multidisciplinary team (surgeons, hepatology, endoscopy, interventional radiology, pathology) and can provide the entire spectrum of treatment for patients with hepat-pancreato-biliary disease. The post is funded by this client where the post-holder will work as Resident Medical Officer in HPB providing assistance during surgery for the group of 4 HPB surgeons, will provide medical support for HPB patients in our two Intensive Care Units and on the medical and surgical floors. Other responsibilities can be discussed via telephone or email.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Clinical Fellow opportunity to possess Full GMC Registration with licence to practice. Hold FRCS or equivalent. Current certified Advanced Life Support Provider (ALS essential, PALS desired). Minimum of ST3 training or equivalent years post registration experience. Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills
