Location: Chichester – Free parking or mini-bus pick up service (to and from Chichester train station)
Salary: up to £37,000 – (Band 7)
Shifts: This opportunity is purely days. Shifts will alternate between 8am – 8pm. 3 days on 3 days off. Employees receive 1-hour unpaid lunch break and 2 x 10-minute breaks.

Further Details About the Role: This opportunity will mean successful applicants will be part of a leading international medical assistance provider, this unique opportunity will mean that no two days are the same as the variety of work is vast and extremely rewarding. You will become part of a friendly and cohesive team of experienced doctors, nurses and linguists and non-medical case managers. The role will entail the assessment and management of patients who fall ill abroad. This will be carried out through liaison with overseas hospitals and medical staff, and with the patient themselves you will ensure correct and appropriate treatment is being given as well as assessing when and how patients are fit to return home. Day to day activities will involve liaising with hospitals overseas, ensuring appropriate treatment is being provided, challenging doctors accordingly, dealing with urgent evacuations and covering patient’s departure details.
Person Specification: For this unique and exciting opportunity the successful applicants are required to possess NMC registration without restrictions. Must be willing to continue practicing in a non-hospital setting. Minimum of 5 years post-registration to include settings such as acute settings, A&E and/or ICU. Broad medical knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Enthusiasm, motivation and an ability to make decisions. Must be able to demonstrate tenacity, empathy and attention to details. A good level of computer literacy. This role will be challenging due to the high volume, decision making and variety of patients being dealt with so all applicants must be prepared for a fast paced environment.
