The Key details are – I am recruiting for an enthusiastic Community Stoma Care Nurse to join a Clinical Development Specialist company on a part time basis offering exception patient care within a community and hospital environment.

Location: Nuneaton and surrounding areas.

Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 per annum / £14.35 – £17.43 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week.

Hours: Part Time – 30 hours per week across 4 days.

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit Community Stoma Care Nurse to deliver high quality care to all patients who require surgery and who have or may require the formation of a stoma – both within the hospital and community setting. You will also provide expert advise and education for all staff within the community and hospital. You will be working within the Primary Care sector you will assess patients in their own homes, hospitals and GP surgeries, run nurse lead clinics and implement clinical and product reviews. You will be offering clinic appointments to existing patients. You will be responsible for supporting Health Care Professionals by advising on best practice through clinical patient reviews.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for Community Stoma Care Nurse opportunity to have a minimum of 3-year post registration experience. Possess an NMC registration without restrictions. It is a must that any applicant possesses Stoma or Colorectal background. All applicants but complete the V300 Independent Prescriber qualification with agreed time period of the post induction into the post. Commercial Awareness. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility in order to meet patient and service needs. Ability to plan, implement and manage own time effectively. Dynamic and forward thinking. Determination to progress professionally in stoma/colorectal nursing. Full and valid driving licence. Good networker and rapport builder. Ability to interrogate data and formulate advice, plans of action and reports. Confidence to present a positive image of self and the company able to influence others. Flexible to meet patient and service needs. IT skills. Ability to work autonomously.
