Consultant Dermatologist, Manchester, Permanent, Full Time. up to £130,000pa + Benefits
Key Details: I am recruiting for a Consultant who specialises in Dermatology to join a Private Healthcare Provider who operates within a site in Manchester to provide exceptional patient care and sessions across a number of sites within the Manchester area.

Location: Manchester – within easy access via Train, Bus and Car with Car Park
Salary: £90,000 – £130,000 per annum / £43.26 – £62.50 per hour based on 40 hours per week.
Hours: 40 hours per week

Further Details about the Role: The Dermatologist will participate in tele-dermatology and outpatient clinics and will undertake dermatological diagnostic and surgical procedures as well as autonomous prescribing for patients in a community clinic. The Dermatologist will report to the Service Manager and the Dermatology Medical Director and is responsible for delivery and supervision of all aspects of the dermatology service, in line with agreed aims and objectives. The Dermatologist will drive best practice in overall patient care, efficiency, performance against service level KPIs, staff mentoring, liaison with external agents and suppliers and the wider community. The Dermatologist will actively seek ways of reducing outgoings by new ways of working and motivating all the staff to deliver maximum efficiency.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Consultant opportunity to possess Full GMC Registration. Entry on the Specialist register in Dermatology or be eligible for entry within six months of attaining certificate of completion of specialist training at the time of interview. MRCP or equivalent is essential. Knowledge and experience of outpatient dermatology and management of acute dermatoses. Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Dermatology. Ability to offer an expert opinion on the full range of dermatological problems. The ability to work as a team member. Acceptance of management and administrative duties by working within a structured team for the greater good. Flexible working attitude.
