Critical Care SPR Doctor, Harley Street, Full Time, Permanent, up to £75,000 + Benefits
Key Details: I am recruiting for SPR level trained Doctors to work in an Adult Critical Care Unit in Harley Street. You will provide support for all medical emergencies within the hospital and offer multi-organ support using the latest in cardiac, ventilator and renal replacement technologies.

Location: Central London, Harley Street – within easy access via Train, Bus and car
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum / £31.25 – £36.05 per hour based on 40 hours per week.
Hours: Full Time & Part Time available – Working Hours either 12- or 24-hours including weekends.

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit a SPR Critical Care Doctor to work on a unit which is Level 3 and are exceptionally busy with a vast range of complex case patients, you will fully assist the consultants and specialist nursing staff to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered. You will have the opportunity to work closely with specialist Consultants and Nursing professionals to ensure that patients’ treatment and care needs are met. This will also include, updating patient records, completing drug charts, clerking admissions, undertaking certain medical procedures as required such as; venepuncture, setting up an intravenous infusion, inserting a urinary catheter, arterial blood sampling, or ECGs. You will also take part in ward audits, education, training and research to continuously improve and strive for excellence, for staff and patients.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this SPR Critical Care Doctor opportunity to have Evidence of Specialist Training, ST4 and above in intensive care medicine. MBBS medical qualification. Registered with the GMC and current licence to practice. Evidence of specialist training in Critical Care / ITU and Anaesthesia. FICM / FPM / RCoA are desirable. Current ALS Certificate. Good inter-personal skills with an ability to work co-operatively in a multidisciplinary setting and own initiative, including intubation unsupervised.
