The Key details are – I am recruiting for a Dermatology Procedure Nurse to join a private healthcare provider located in Manchester on a full time, permanent basis
Location: Manchester – within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum / £28.20 – £30.76 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week.
Hours: Full Time available – 37.5 Hours Per Week

Further Details about the Role: The purpose of the role is to provide a nurse led service and is able to offer advice, counselling, education and monitoring of drugs and treatment regimes. To attend nurse educational meetings as and when required. To assist the clinical team in the service and delivery of the tele-dermatology service of the local population. The post holder will work collaboratively with the clinical team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures while providing supervision to more junior staff. You may be required to work remotely to review medical records and conduct telephone assessments. This will include assessing the GP referral, previous consultation notes, medication history and outcome of procedure then speaking to the patient over the telephone to establish the patients’ current condition and next steps in their pathway. You will be provided with a laptop and telephone, which will be within the N3 connection and work completed remotely will form part of your contracted hours.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this opportunity to possess current NMC registered Nurse. Evidence of professional updating. Relevant Dermatology qualification such as ENB N25, ENB 393, N18 or equivalent or post graduate degree in dermatology. Experience in providing a nurse led service along with providing advice, counselling and education to patients. Experience in a Dermatology Day/Outpatient setting. Commitment to developing professional practice and skills. Can undertake Minor Ops. Can undertake Leg Ulcer and compression bandaging. Experienced and involved in developing written documentations such as standards and protocols. Excellent communication skills including ability to listen, to discuss and to inform clearly; ability to record in writing both clearly and accurately; ability to produce reports.
