Key Details: I am working with a Private Hospital located in North London who is actively seeking an IPC Manager to be a key member of the clinical team.
The Key Details Are –
Location: North London – within easy access via Train, Bus and Car with carpark.
Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 per annum / £18.97 – £21.53 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week.
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the Role: The successful candidate for this position will provide expert clinical advice and leadership for the infection control service to support the Chief Nursing Officer (Director of Infection Prevention and Control) to ensure patients are protected from the risk of acquiring Health Care Associated Infections (HCAI) and sustaining an environment in which excellence in clinical care can flourish. The post holder will be required to assure the Chief Nursing Officer that the necessary actions are in place to meet the requirements of the Health Act 2012 and the Care Quality Commission 5 domains of care. Work collaboratively across the care pathway to promote an integrated approach to infection control, including the development of antibiotic prescribing policies, food hygiene practices, cleaning of facilities, decontamination and estates management.
Person Specification: The successful applicant for this opportunity must possess an NMC registration without restrictions. Must demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development within the specialist areas of Infection Control and Prevention. Knowledge and understanding of the relevant Infection Prevention and Control legislation. The requisite clinical knowledge and high level of competence in order to lead on infection control within clinical practice and service quality. Experience of providing expert advice to new clinical environments, patient pathways and processes. The ability to lead out and bring projects / initiatives to completion. Knowledge and understanding of the relevant Infection Prevention and Control legislation.
