The Key details are – I am recruiting for a Private Hospital located in South of Hampshire who are actively looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their nurse led service within MIU. This unit has been completed to a high spec with modern and contemporary design it enjoys the benefits to up to date modern technology.
Location: South of Hampshire – within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum / £17.43 – £19.48 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. ( Negotiable depending on experience )
Hours: Full Time available – 37.5 Hours Per Week

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit a Nurse Practitioner to assist in the provision of a quality nurse led service to patients attending the Minor Injury Unit. The role requires you to function autonomously and within your sphere of competency. You must be able to assess patients, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals / external agencies. The Minor Injury Unit is a clinical facility which requires in individual to have the ability to work effectively as part of a multi professional team within a fast pace environment, in line with the protocols and policies of the local Service. To maintain competencies associated with the role ensuring you are working within your own limitations / scope of practice.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner to possess NMC registration without restrictions. L6 / BSc / Further professional. Registered Paramedic – FDSc or BSc qualified and registered with HPCP. Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Independent Nurse Prescriber or willing to undertake course – Centre dependent. Post registration qualification in autonomous practice or equivalent. Proven post registration experience including evidence of working in any of these following clinical areas; Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments, Minor Injuries / Illness Units and Acute specialities. Evidence of extended skills eg suturing, x-ray interpretation and plastering as appropriate to the centre.
