Occupational Physician – Birmingham – Full Time – up to £120,000pa + benefits
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Physician to join a leading UK occupational health and wellbeing company within the Birmingham area.
The successful applicant for this opportunity will provide advice to managers on issues relating to the working environment in accordance with existing legislation and within the framework of existing policies, including redeployment and work modifications by way of health surveillance/workplace assessments, in conjunction with appropriate managers. You will Work with the Consultant OHPs (COP) and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to ensure high professional standards are delivered in accordance with business needs. Give appropriate advice on the management of sickness absence, and plans for rehabilitation, to managers, individual clients or their representatives, Conduct health assessments and reviews as required (e.g., pre-employment, driving fitness, etc) Previous rail or safety critical experience essential
I am looking for the successful applicant for this opportunity to possess full GMC Registration, Dip Occ Med and at minimum AFOM status. Full Driving Licence is desirable. A Medical Practitioner who has, since full registration, consolidated their skills and continued their medical education in line with the requirements of continuing medical education / continuing professional development. Good understanding of the role and implications of clinical governance.
This roles is offered as Full Time, 5 days.
Salary of £90,000 – £120,000pa + benefits depending on experience
