Outpatient & Day Unit Manager, South London, Permanent, up to £47,000pa + Benefits
Key Details: I am working with a Private Hospital located in South London who is actively seeking an Outpatient and Day Unit Manager to join their busy team in their high spec and modern unit. As a clinical Manager, you will provide leadership within your team whilst promoting a patient-focussed service, ensuring the provision is cost-effective and to the highest standards of patient safety.
The Key Details Are –
Location: South London – within easy access via Train, Bus and Car with carpark.
Salary: £43,000 – £47,000 per annum / £22.05 – £24.10 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week.
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday however the hospital will be looking to opening on Saturdays in the future.
Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the Role: The successful candidate for this position will be taking responsibility to lead the department under the direction of the Head of Clinical Services. To strategically plan the clinical services, responsible for day to day organisation and management of the clinical department. You will be required to Participate in Clinical Governance agenda, ensuring audits undertaken, investigation of incidents/complaints. You will be responsible for development, motivation and performance of all clinical staff, ensuring the achievement of CQC Standards as required for nursing services in an acute care hospital accepting planned and emergency surgical and medical admissions. You will be required to regularly liaise with Maintenance Department to ensure service dates for all Outpatients and Ambulatory equipment are adhered to and service contracts maintained.
Person Specification: The successful applicant for this great opportunity is required to be a Registered Nurse and possess an NMC pin without restrictions. It is a must to have extensive experience working in an acute hospital setting and have previous experience within a Clinical Lead role. Significant exposure in a senior role to external stakeholders such as Consultants, Physicians, Allied Health professionals, patients and suppliers. Ability to lead a nursing team, showing previous experience in leading a clinical team. Able to make judgements involving complex facts or situations which require the analysis, interpretation and comparison of a range of options. You must be Results driven, possessing a proven track record of delivering against targets.
