Location: Southampton within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: £33,000 – £38,000 per annum / £16.92 – £19.48 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Full Time available 36 Hours Per Week
Shift Patterns: Rota that operates across 4 days per week (Monday Friday), This is a full time position.
Contract Type: Fixed Term

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit a Paediatric Audiologist to join a team providing clinical and patient care located in Southampton. You will be undertaking paediatric audiology test procedures efficiently and effectively within current guidelines, adhering to best practice audiology technique and providing expertise to ensure the appropriate examination of patients. You will be working as part of a small, developing team to a high standard. Maintain a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work. There is an option to work with AQP and Complex Adult Patients in the Core Audiology service and in the developing wax removal and balance services alongside our community ENT team. The Audiology and ENT services cover five community sites in and around Southampton City.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Paediatric Audiologist application to be registered with the HCPC as a Paediatric Clinical Scientist. You must be able to independently undertake specialist clinical assessments for children ages 0-16 with suspected hearing loss, presenting with a range of ability to comply with testing. Experience in ABR testing. Ability to interpret and communicate complex medical information. Masters or STP in Audiological Science ( significantly experienced Paediatric Audiologists will also be considered for this role ).
Desirable: Be resident in a commutable area to Southampton. Flexibility to provide ad hoc cover when required, to accommodate holiday and sickness.
