Resident Medical Officer – General Medicine / Surgical, Central London, Full Time, Permanent, up to £60,000 + Benefits
Key Details: I am recruiting for an experienced Resident Medical Officer to support both the general surgical and medical wards. The role of the Resident Medical Officer is to be responsible for the medical pre-op and post-op support to the consultants and specialist nursing staff to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered.

Location: Central London – within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum / £26.44 – £28.84 per hour based on 40 hours per week.
Hours: Full Time & Part Time available – 40 Hours Per Week – range of shifts across both weekdays & weekends determined by rota, in 24- or 12-hour shifts. Rotas provided on average 6 to 8 weeks in advance to plan worklife balance.
Contract Type: Permanent or a 1-year fixed term contract, dependent upon candidate preference.

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit an RMO to join a Private Hospital in London where you will fully assist the consultants and specialist nursing staff to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered, to ensure that any changes to the medical management plan for a patient, as agreed with their named consultant, are communicated immediately to the nurse in charge and relevant members of the multidisciplinary team. Supporting new admissions to the unit as soon as is reasonably possible, Clerking patients, completing new drug charts and informing the named consultant of the patient’s arrival. Accompany consultants on ward rounds of their patients, at their request.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this RMO opportunity to possess full without restrictions GMC registration. An additional post-graduate qualification MRCP or MRCS is desirable. MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. Advanced Life Support (ALS) qualification. Doctors must be the equivalent level of ST3 and/or above in General Surgery or Medicine. Post holder must hold current ALS certificate. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team
