Senior Clinical Fellow – Urology, Kent, Permanent, up to £49,000pa + Benefits

The Key details are – I am recruiting for a experienced Senior Clinical Fellow who specialises in Urology. To work within this NHS site based in Kent on a full time permanent basis

Location: Kent – within easy access via Train, Bus and Car

Salary: £45,000 – £49,000 per annum / £23.07 – £25.12 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week.

Hours: Full Time

Further Details about the Role: This post is an ideal opportunity for a suitably qualified individual looking to develop skills within a Urology department with a specialist interest in continence, prostate cancer, the management of BPH and Urinary Stone diseases. The position will allow candidates to continue to meet their training and education objectives within their clinical responsibilities. The successful applicant will work within the urology team. There will be a major commitment to “core” urology including outpatient clinics, main theatre and day surgery operating lists, flexible cystoscopy lists and trans-rectal prostate biopsy lists. Attendance at the weekly oncology MDT meeting, bi-monthly continence MDT is expected.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant to possess MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. ATLS Course, ALS Certificate. Possess full GMC registration without restrictions. Evidence of achievement of Foundation competences by time of appointment in line with GMC standards/ Good Medical Practice including:

* Awareness and respect for colleagues, patients and relatives’ dignity. Privacy, integrity, cultural and religious beliefs
