Senior Night Sister / Charge Nurse, Central London, Full Time, up to £43,000pa + 20% Uplift for Unsocial Hours + Benefits
The Key details are – I am recruiting for a Sister – Charge Nurse to join a Private Hospital located in central London on a full-time permanent basis in a ward.
Location: London – within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: £39,000 – £43,000 per annum (Including London Waiting and 20% uplift for unsocial hours)
Hours: Full Time (Nights) Usual pattern is 7 nights on and 7 nights off. Two weeks day duty is expected every 6 months.

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit a Sister – Charge Nurse to join a private hospital on a permanent night basis To provide excellent management of the night clinical services, undertaking out of hours duty manager role.
1 To provide clinical leadership, with full responsibility of hospital wide clinical care during the night shift.
2 To undertake Duty Manager role during night hours, taking responsibility for the overall management and administration of the hospital.
3 To provide professional leadership as line manager to the Night Sister and the night nursing team, including appraisals, staff development and performance management.
4 To undertake audits and quality improvement projects, providing assurance to the Clinicial Nurse Manager of the quality of the night services.
5 To evaluate and coordinate the staffing levels and skill mix across the hospital during night hours ensuring the best clinical care.
6 Undertaking direct patient care as required.
7 To contribute to effective management of resources ensuring good cost control.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Sister- Charge Nurse opportunity to possess a full without restrictions NMC registration. Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically, managerially, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC registration. Experienced in acute nursing care. Up to date knowledge in area of practice. Energetic, proactive and driven to succeed. Acts on own initiative and problem solves utilising resources available. Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management. Strong interpersonal skills. Good team worker. Both punctual and reliable. Flexible and adaptable.
