Key Details: I am recruitment for a Speciality Doctor to join a Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Network’s multidisciplinary recovery teams.

Location: West Sussex – Chichester, Bognor Regis and Worthing.
Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 per annum / £33.33 – £41.02 per hour based on 37.5 Hours per week.

Further Details about the Role: As a Speciality Doctor you will contribute to the service in ensuring service users consistently receive high quality services that adhere to the best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards. You will be required to actively contribute to the overall performance of the service to ensure that contractual output targets are reached. They will be required to record and input client data and information in order that the service operates within contractual, administrative and financial requirements. The post-holder will be required to work flexibly across several operational sites as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This will include some evening and weekend working as determined by service user need. The post-holder will be expected to take responsibility for personal development, identifying personal training needs and participate in regular supervision, appraisal. They will be required to engage fully in the process for revalidation.
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Speciality Doctor to possess full GMC Register and licence to practice. Medical Degree and competing basic medical training. Experience in delivering evidence-based treatment in substance misuse. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team setting and with another agency. Evidence of participation in clinical audit. PRCPsych or equivalent. Section 12 approved. Good understanding and knowledge of addiction psychiatry. Knowledge of legislation relating to mental health. Demonstrable evidence of effective communication skills. Experience of working with substance misuse and mental health issues and a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
